Karen is an internationally recognized artist and educator whose vibrant ceramic and mixed media works can be found in collections worldwide. She creates pieces for public and private commissions and is currently Head of Ceramics in the University of Southern California’s Roski School of Fine Arts.

Arts & Crafts Series, 1994-1995

Ceramics had a prominent position in the Arts & Crafts movement and the three works in this category allowed a personal exploration of this style. I enjoyed researching the philosophy and works of noted Arts & Crafts artists, from a variety of media, reinterpreting the shapes and designs of this movement into a series of unique wall works.
