Della Robbia Still Life in the Garden of Eden

Inspired by the ceramic vignettes made popular by the Della Robbia Family during the Italian Renaissance, my lunette series uses the imagery of the still life rather than the religious themes found in the Della Robbia repertoire. I found the lunette very engaging as it has allowed me to explore the juxtaposition of a variety of forms and their surface patterning within an architectural format.
